Let’s get one thing straight. I love Facebook. As a twenty-something west coast transplant it is a great way to keep up with my friends from high school, college and various places I have worked.
When the iPhone version of Facebook (iphone.facebook.com) was released I was psyched. Finally - a beautiful version of Facebook on my beloved mobile device. Upon looking through the iPhone version of Facebook I did catch a very weird ‘bug’ - it seems that Facebook is leaking protected identities of individuals posting/emailing content for companies.
Here is an example of what my inbox looks like on the regular version of Facebook.
And now look at the iPhone version of Facebook. Instead of the sender’s name being set to ‘Apple Students’ it is being set to Elizabeth Chapin who probably works over at Apple with their Facebook group.

Not good Facebook. Not good.
I just got a message from an engineer at Facebook that they have fixed the bug. Nice turn around time!
