Public speaking is going to be a very difficult class this quarter.
Let’s face the facts:
- I like to talk in front of an audience.
- I hate coming up with a subject.
- I can’t stand practicing 10-20 times before a speech.
- I don’t like the idea of my class ripping me a new one and critiquing the way I hold my hand on my hip when I say a certain word.
- I don’t like getting graded on speaking.
- Improvement? Gosh I hope I do.
Okay, back to practicing my speech.

I don’t usually practice speeches. I am totally afraid that I’ll come off as too polished and I use my wit and a little bit of physical comedy to overcome my apparant under-preparedness in order to keep my audience at ease so I don’t feel them sucking my soul into the criticism chamber.
