  2. Go Away Accounting!

I haven’t written in awhile. A few weeks ago I started taking summer classes at Monroe Community College. The reasoning behind this was to take some of my harder classes so the grades and only credits transfer back to RIT.

Yes, it’s a community college, but these 5 week condensed classes are completely owning me. Right now my life is in the hands of Accounting Principles I and Principles of Microeconomics. I start at 8 AM and go to 1 PM (that’s 2 hours of economics and 3 hours of accounting). Brutal.

I then come home, take a nap (I’m exhausted) and cook dinner. Then its on to anywhere from 2-4 hours of accounting homework, economics reading and work-work.

I think fall may be a reliever.

Hey, if you want to let your readers to leave comments on articles, leave the comment option checked ya punk!!

Ok, so what kind of podcasts are you looking for? I’ve got a dozen or so that I’d recommend but they are based on what I’m into. I’d check out Cool Shite on the Tube (Four Austrailians who review the best-est of movies and anime) and Kobe Beef (the original blackanese ex-patriot living in Japan. The How to Do Stuff podcast is mildly entertaining and when I’m feeling frisky on a Saturday afternoon, the BBC’s From Our Own Correspondent usually satiates quite well. For new hip music, check out Aplified: Indie Music Podcast.

      Ok, now go get em!

well in your rss entry, since you asked for people’s comments then forgot to include a comment field, i’ll comment here instead.

check out http://www.livejournal.com/userinfo.bml?user=grouch and find the little satalite icon. those are my syndicated rss feeds.. i’m all over and often never at the same computer so i read my rss feeds online along with the rest of my friends’ journal entries. if you want the actual rss feed url, just go to the userinfo of that particular feed and it’s in thee someplace.

most of the feeds i read are tech-related and comics.. i haven’t really gotten into podcasting since the little experience i have with it has been kinda booring and just repeats the written news that i already read from that site.

Fall? The real world will be a reliever! I can’t believe how much easier co-op is than taking classes. You get free time at night and don’t have any projects to do on the weekends. It’s cake.

As for RSS: I’m a big fan of NetNewsWire. I haven’t been keeping up on blogs much lately, despite my newfound free time, but I do still read Dooce, Overheard in NY, and Kottke on a regular basis.

Oh, and McSweeney’s Lists. The feed only gives you the title and a link, but I would never think to check the website for updates if it didn’t show up in my news reader.

      Furthermore!

No HTML in comments, apparently. Sheesh.
