Wow. I love this weather. Its the first day of fall yet it is gorgeous outside.

Classes are going well. I think I’m getting the hang of everything. I have an awesome Professional Technical Writing Formal Report topic. My history class is awesome (we might be going for Ethopian food — kICK ASS!). As for Imaging Science and Persuasion some hard work tonight will pay off and I’ll get on top of those assignments.

Oh… did I mention how much I LOVE my job? I work with some of the most amazing people. Its the little things that matter.

Hahaa. I’m sooo random today. Before my history class and I went to Crossroads and I got a Mocha Coffee smoothie with an energy booster in it. It made me jittery all day and its the best feeling ever.

I’m excited to work on my homework. This is good, healthy. Plunging into work sometimes solves all problems. At least for the time being.

    So yeah. There’s my update.

and here’s a quote. I love this poem/piece of writing. It is entitled “What Will Matter”. Especially in today’s society we get so caught up in the materialistic things. Here’s a section clipped for your enjoyment and thought.

What will matter is every act of integrity, compassion, courage or sacrifice that enriched, empowered or encouraged others to emulate your example. What will matter is not your competence but your character. What will matter is not how many people you knew, but how many will feel a lasting loss when you’re gone. What will matter is not your memories but the memories of those who loved you. What will matter is how long you will be remembered, by whom and for what. Living a life that matters doesn’t’ happen by accident. It’s not a matter of circumstance but of choice. Choose to live a life that matters."

And with that said: "You must choose to live in a better world. Don’t be content to merely survive." Reach out, touch and embrace each other. Materialistic goods mean nothing. But those hugs, those kisses and those amazing friendships and relationships that have fostered with people over the years count.

    God bless.
